About Chelcey

As someone providing therapy in Daphne, Alabama, I know every person who walks through my door brings a unique story, and no two therapy journeys look exactly alike. My role is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and challenged in ways that encourage meaningful growth.

I take a whole-person approach to therapy, recognizing that our emotional well-being is influenced by more than our thoughts alone. Our relationships, physical health, daily routines, life experiences, and the ways we respond to stress all shape how we feel and function. Together, we’ll look at the whole picture to better understand what’s contributing to your struggles and identify practical steps toward lasting change.

My work is rooted in evidence-based practices while remaining flexible to meet your individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Brainspotting, and other trauma-informed interventions to create a personalized approach that fits your goals and supports your unique journey.

One of my favorite parts of therapy is helping clients understand themselves in new ways. Insight often creates the foundation for lasting change. When we understand why we think, feel, and respond the way we do, we can begin replacing self-criticism with self-compassion and make choices that better align with the life we want to create.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, parenting challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the everyday stress that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.

Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether we’re learning new coping skills, processing difficult experiences, or celebrating small victories along the way, my hope is that you’ll leave each session with a greater understanding of yourself, renewed confidence, and the tools to continue growing long after our work together ends.

Why The Willow?

Spiritually, willow blooms are often associated with flexibility, adaptability, and resilience. Willows are known for their ability to bend without breaking, symbolizing the importance of being adaptable in the face of challenges. The bloom itself can represent new beginnings, growth, and renewal, reflecting themes of transformation and healing.

In various cultures, willows are also linked to emotional balance, intuition, and nurturing energy. They may remind us to connect with our inner selves and embrace our emotions, promoting a sense of peace and tranquility. Overall, willow blooms can serve as a reminder to stay grounded while navigating life’s changes.

At Willow Bloom Counseling, we believe in the transformative power of personal growth and healing.
