About Chelcey Gibson

Chelcey Gibson
As an Associate Licensed Counselor, under the Supervision of Anna Barksdale, LPC-S, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of life with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based support. My practice focuses on guiding clients through grief, ADHD, anxiety, parenting struggles, and family dynamics to create a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can flourish.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and I strive to help individuals honor their loss while finding ways to move forward with meaning and resilience. When working with individuals and families, I take a strengths-based approach, offering tools to help them manage overwhelming emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence.

I believe that therapy should be a judgment-free, collaborative process tailored to each client’s unique needs. Using an integrative approach that blends cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and choice theory, I empower clients to find clarity, build resilience, and create healthier relationships with themselves and those around them.

Why The Willow?

Spiritually, willow blooms are often associated with flexibility, adaptability, and resilience. Willows are known for their ability to bend without breaking, symbolizing the importance of being adaptable in the face of challenges. The bloom itself can represent new beginnings, growth, and renewal, reflecting themes of transformation and healing.

In various cultures, willows are also linked to emotional balance, intuition, and nurturing energy. They may remind us to connect with our inner selves and embrace our emotions, promoting a sense of peace and tranquility. Overall, willow blooms can serve as a reminder to stay grounded while navigating life’s changes.

At Willow Bloom Counseling, we believe in the transformative power of personal growth and healing.
